Emily grew up in Emerald, Central Queensland leading an active, outdoor life on a cattle property. She has always played a sport of some kind over the years including athletics, tennis, touch football and crossfit.
An injury to her shoulder in high school solidified her desire to become a Physiotherapist. This lead Emily to move to Townsville to study a Bachelor of Physiotherapy at James Cook University. Since graduating in 2009 Emily has worked in the Musculoskeletal and Occupational Rehabilitation fields.
She is also a qualified Clinical Pilates Instructor.
On weekends Emily enjoys spending time with her family, friends and dog Tate.
